Truth, pure and undiluted April 16, 2007

There are many
perceptions, but only one
Truth.
Many things than can be counted, do not count. Many things that count, cannot be counted.
There are many
perceptions, but only one
Truth.
Hi,
You must have heard this one:
‘There are three kinds of truth: my truth, your truth & THE
truth.’
.
I quite agreed with this, until recently, I read something to this effect :
‘There is no such thing as THE truth. For me it will be my truth, & for you your truth ,that will be true . Truth or reality is what we make up as we go along life’s journey.’
.
What say?
Hey Satish,
Read this:
GODISNOWHERE
While some would read it as God is nowhere, others would read it as God is now here. Two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.
As we go through the troughs and crests, the mountains and valleys of life, our true vision gets clouded by colours of joy and sorrow, fear and courage, by the colours of presumptions and anticipations.
A small child would fearlessly walk down a dark lane late at night, even enjoying the journey, the surroundings, while an average adult would be fear the unknown and his perception would totally be tainted with agitation.
“The” truth is eternal.
It is true that you would never truly reach that truth because it is essentially for all practical reasons, a figment of imagination, a conception of the divine scheme gained through inspired endeavors.
I pray to God that our own truth may reach closer to THE truth.
